Bloody zed killing action

Killing Floor 2 by Tripwire Interactive is a cooperative multiplayer shooter. The goal is to work as a team and survive waves of zeds (different monsters). With different character classes, you destroy and dismember zombies for as long as possible.

Early Access is a polished slice

Releasing on Steam Early Access on April 21, 2015, Killing Floor 2 will feature one mode of the full game. There are 3 non-linear levels, 4 perk classes, 27 weapons, 11 zed types, 8 playable characters, 1 boss zed, and a mod SDK for custom levels.

Starting at level 0, you have to gain experience to unlock perks for different classes. The varied classes are standard for first person shooters like assault (commando), support, and medic. A melee class called Berserker is an up-close-and-personal tank class that beat zeds with melee weapons.

During each wave you earn money that can be cashed in for new weapons, armor, and ammo. You can also drop cash to help other players.

Each subsequent wave will have stronger zeds and spawn more weaker zeds who will try and surround your entire team.

Teamwork is the only way to succeed in Killing Floor 2. Medics need to continuously heal the team and the assault and support class have to kill off the stragglers that get by the Berserker.

Difficult, but rewarding

Killing Floor 2 makes teamwork feel much more natural than any other first person shooter. It reinforces that a lone gun won't survive. The Early Access build contains one mode, but there are hours of gameplay possible. Try out different classes to find which one works best for you.
